Our Response

On behalf of The Bugle and buglemedia.com I offer our sincere condolences and respect to the victims and families involved in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We would also like to offer our deep appreciation  for the inspiring and heart-warming efforts of the thousands of American heroes involved in rescue and recovery during this time of national need.

The happenings of the 11th September will stay with all of us forever, and no doubt  be remembered in the annals of History. As our tribute to the victims and heroes involved in the tragic events of September, we present below a poem by our Lead Writer, William Derl-Davis, an American born and raised in Chicago.

As Angels Weep

by William Derl- Davis

As angels weep the flames engulfed the giant towers.

The cries of fear are smothered floor by floor.

For those who enter at their risk to save the others,

The lack of time erases them all.

As angels weep the watchers watch in horror

While doll like figures twist and turn in hopes,

They could but fly.

While far away in lands unknown the cries of joy

Are heard

And angels weep for all mankind and doves are just a bird
